Participants gain valuable experience reviewing these core sections and answering sample exam questions with an experienced instructor while strengthening their skills and building confidence. Attendees can earn up to 15 CPE hours.

Who should attend

We have a few spots remaining in our CISA Review course which is being held over 3 consecutive Saturday mornings starting October 31.  Cost to members is just $25 (must use RTC logon to get this price).  Yes folks, that is for all three days NOT per day – just $25 for members, $50 for affiliates, and $75 for non-affiliates.

For the $25 you get lunch provided to you on all three Saturdays, and if you attend all six of the 1.5 hour sessions, you will earn 15 CPEs, and have Saturday afternoon off to take a nap or have some fun times with family and friends.

You don’t have to be going for the CISA certification to attend, though that is our primary purpose in providing this to you as we hope everyone will pass the exam first time around.  Use it as a refresher course, or use it to get some much needed CPE’s before year end.   Anyone taking or considering taking the CISA examination; anyone is seeking an overall understanding of essential IT risks and controls.  The Certified Information Systems Auditor certificate is ISACA’s strong credential earned by audit and control professionals. With a growing demand for professionals possessing IS audit, control and security skills, CISA has become a preferred certification program by individuals and organizations around the world. CISA certification signifies commitment to serving an organization and the IS audit, control and security industry with distinction.

The ISACA RTC Chapter is offering a CISA Review Course to assist you in studying for the 2009 CISA exam held on December 12th.  The CISA review course is formatted to provide you a presentation for each domain, focusing on the key concepts, and then to spend time drilling you with specific questions so as to provide you practice with answering and understanding the type of questions that will be presented on the exam.  The ISACA.org website will provide you the details on the CISA exam and the online registration form.
